Autumn is here in New England.
Ginger and I went out for a 2hr ride in West Hartford Reservoir yesterday. I took her up along the ridgeline for the first time. She navigated the technical terrain superbly!

Today, I had the day off of work (furlough day). What best to spend your unpaid day off but go for a bicycle ride. Fueled from yesterday's ride with Ginger, I went back to the WH Reservoir but decided to venture north into Simsbury along the ridgeline. Trails that Sean showed me last year. Had some great views.
3hrs on the bike today. Went into town as the sun was setting to get some hot tea from Starbucks. I was cold (wind goes through a wool jersey pretty easily). Stopped at the grocery store and grabbed a paper bag. This would serve as my wind-breaker on the ride home (stuck it down my jersey on my chest).
Saw this in the woods. Wonder what it is (didn't go inside)? I doubt its a mineshaft.
